what di d you think of the film?

"Foster" may be the best film I've ever seen about the child protection system, and the crisis America faces in how it cares for its children. Focusing on cases handled by the child protection system in Los Angeles, it follows the stories of several people affected by that system: children who are victims of abuse and neglect, parents who put their children at risk, generous foster parents and survivors of child abuse and neglect. Although some of the stories have satisfying conclusions, others featured in the film continue to face uncertain and challenging futures. "Foster" provides Americans with a clear-eyed look at the issues of abuse and neglect, the dedication of child protection workers, and the shortcomings that continue to plague that system.”
